It left as quickly as it came, for the time being I am closing down the custom artworks wing of Autoillustrated. In it's place I'll be working on a number of new projects as well as getting my real car up and running for the season.

As spring gets closer it's time to start thinking about the big events, this year I'll be making the pilgrimage to Los Angeles in early May for Luftgekuhlt 2019. Sadly, bringing the 914 isn't in the cards, but if you see me flag me down and introduce yourself. I'd be happy to meet all of you. I might even be wearing a new Autoillustrated branded tee.

It has been an eventful year for Autoillustrated with so many new opportunities. I'm happy to announce that I am opening up custom artworks on a limited basis. If you are looking for something personal, drop me a line and we can discuss it. This will be on a first come-first served basis for private commissions.

I'm pleased to announce my partnership with 000 Magazine. In the current and future issues of 000 Magazine you'll be able to catch my work in a section called "Build".

In it, I work with editors Pete Stout and Alex Palevsky as well as creative director Justin Page to develop and concept out a "what-if" Porsche build and then create some nice images of it. The make remains the same, but the model changes each issue. I was fortunate that Pete shares my adoration of the 914 and it was chosen as the base for my debut in issue #007.

If you're unfamiliar with 000 (spoken "triple zero"), here's a high level. It's easily the best Porsche publication, probably auto publication, in the world. Content is deep, they strive for good content over cramming articles into neat boxes. If a topic demands 30 pages of text and photos, so be it. It almost shouldn't be called a magazine as it is a thick quarterly publication printed on wonderful stock. What's better, advertising in the mag is incredibly slim, I would estimate that 95% of this thick journal is just wonderful content instead of advertising. Check out their web page linked to the right for more information and to subscribe.
